Senator Hafida Benchehida served at the Foreign Relations Committee in Algerian Senate from 2013 - 2015. She is a founding member of Algerian Women Parliamentary Network, and as of January 2016 Deputy Chairwomen of legal and administrative affairs and Human Rights Committee.

Ambassador Madjid Bouguerra, among other diplomatic functions, served as the Ambassador or Algeria in Zambia, Niger, China, Germany, before becoming Algerian Ambassador in the United States
